Collaboration

Collaboration is essential in today’s design and construction delivery process. With multiple types of construction including Integrated Delivery, Design-Build, or traditional Design-Bid-Build, the need for team communication and the involvement from both the design team and the construction partners is critical. DVA takes an active role in leading this collaboration in order to direct the project to a successful completion.

Technology

The DVA partners and staff have over 10 years of experience working with BIM technologies. Each of our firm’s design personnel holds an Autodesk Professional Certification in the use of BIM. Proven processes and years of implementation have provided benefits to our clients that are overwhelming. These benefits include 3D visualization, schematic cost estimating, building performance analysis, energy analysis, day-lighting analysis, clash detection and systems coordination. We find that these benefits simplify the design process, lower overall building costs, and solve coordination challenges before they become issues during construction.
