Our Firm

DVA is an Atlanta-based full service architectural firm that specializes in entertainment, hospitality, EMS-industry and commercial projects.  Since its inception in 2007, the firm has focused on new builds, renovations, and additions for cinema-eateries, entertainment centers, hotels, corporate offices, and universities.

Mike Voegtle, AIA

Mike Voegtle is the Managing Principal of DVA, leading a talented group of architects, project managers, and interior designers in the full range of design services.  Mike's experience in architectural design and management stretches across multiple building types including cultural, religious, retail, and commercial projects.  Prior to founding DVA in 2007, Mike worked as a Principal with The Beck Group, based in Dallas, TX where he bacame well versed in all types of project delivery.  Mike is a registered architect in over 10 states.  He is a native of Southern Illinois, just outside of St. Louis, Missouri and holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Kansas State University.

Mike is a member of the Rotary Club of East Cobb and a 2010 Board Member for the Friends of East Cobb Park.  Mike originally met his wife, Tracy, while studying abroad in Italy.  Together, they have two sons - Collin and Carson.  Mike enjoys spending time with his family, playing tennis, traveling, the movies, and is an avid college football fan and St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan.

Bill Davis, LEED A.P.

Bill Davis is a Principal with DVA, leading the firm's interior design and the driver behind the firm's 10 year Building Information Modeling expertise.  His passion is designing functional, appealing spaces and managing complex projects.  Prior to founding DVA, with partner Mike Voegtle, Bill worked as a designer for retail, commercial, and entertainment projects with various architectural firms.  Bill leads DVA's sustainability efforts and is an Autodesk Certified Professional in the use of BIM.  Bill is a native of Oxford, Ohio and received his Masters of Architecture from Georgia Tech.

Bill and his wife, Phuong, enjoy music, the fine arts, and the outdoors.  As ardent travelers, they have spent time in Europe, Central and South America, Korea, and Southeast Asia.  Bill is active in his neighborhood community, is a 2010 Board Member for the Brian Jordan Foundation, and manages a team for the A/E Atlanta Softball League in its 11th year.
